Most solo compilations are a single setup repeated, but Tanya Tate’s Superheroine Solos splits itself into two distinct costumes and two distinct moods, all from her own Tanya Tate’s Private Collection label.

The first scene has Tanya in a head-to-toe black cat suit, finished off with boots and gloves. She works with a Pyrex glass toy here, taking her time and letting the outfit do a lot of the visual work. The shine of the suit against the glass makes for a sleek, slightly sinister look, which suits the comic-book theme well. Then the mood shifts for the second scene. She changes into a white mini skirt with a matching cape top and white thigh-high boots, a brighter and more playful take on the superheroine idea. There is no toy this time, only her fingers, and the pace feels a little more relaxed and personal. Each scene runs about six minutes, so the whole thing is short, easy to watch in one go, and there is no filler between the two parts. Fans of British blondes, cosplay and mature performers will find plenty to like, since Tanya has made costume play something of a trademark over the years. This 2016 release keeps the focus squarely on her, with no co-stars, no storyline and nothing to distract from the outfits and the performance.
