The Neighbors – A Quiet Street, Two Couples and One Secret (HD)

Suburban affair dramas live or die on the setup, and The Neighbors keeps it simple. Jessica and Dick (Jessie Andrews and Dale DaBone) have a cozy, love-filled house and a calm routine. Then a wild young couple, Rachel and Frank (Lily Carter and Richie Deville), move in next door. Jessica bakes the welcome, so to speak. Dick, though, already knows Rachel, and not from the neighborhood barbecue. That’s the hook. From there it’s lies, close calls, guilty looks over the hedge, forbidden hookups, and a street that stops being sleepy real fast. It’s the third entry in Sweet Sinner’s Naughty Neighbors run, written and directed by James Avalon, and it leans on story more than most. Four scenes, each pairing the cast in a different combination: Jessie Andrews with Dale DaBone, Lily Carter with Richie Deville, then the partners swap. Runtimes land between about 25 and 32 minutes, so nothing feels rushed. It’s a couples-and-betrayal plot, which is why it’s often picked by viewers who want a bit of drama with their heat. Released in 2021.
